Comic book and Shakespeare fans will be excited to hear that Tom Hiddleston - of Loki fame from Marvel's Avengers Assemble - has been cast to play Prince Hal/Henry V in the BBC's upcoming series of new Shakespeare films.

Good at the sly evil grin, can he pull off the historic Kingly role from the Bard?

Hear the real Shakespeare

Open University has produced a YouTube video about how Shakespeare would have really been spoken. An enjoyable watch/listen to see how much you actually can understand! Can you believe the Globe only started doing original pronounciation (Romeo and Juliet) in 2004?

My minion Tina rather likes Open University, and is currently completing her 2nd degree with them. Search the OpenLearn site for free Shakespeare educational bits.

Loving the views on the Jacobean years of Shakespeare's Work on the BBC Shakespeare season.  Getting more about the political atmosphere the later plays were written in.
